The short version: NoteCurrent has no accounts, no analytics, and no crash-reporting SDKs. Microphone audio is processed on your device and is never uploaded or stored.
This policy covers the NoteCurrent web app at app.notecurrent.com and this website at notecurrent.com (together, "NoteCurrent").
Microphone audio
NoteCurrent uses your microphone to detect the key of the music it hears. Your browser asks for permission before NoteCurrent can use the microphone, and you can withdraw that permission at any time in your browser or device settings.
- Audio is analyzed on your device, inside the app.
- Audio is never sent to us or to anyone else.
- Audio is never recorded or stored.
No account
NoteCurrent doesn't have accounts. We don't ask for your name, email address, or any other personal details to use it.
No analytics or crash reporting
NoteCurrent doesn't include analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash-reporting SDKs. We don't build profiles of you or share or sell data about you.
Hosting
The web app is served by Google's Firebase Hosting, and this website is served by Netlify. As with any website, these hosting providers receive basic technical information when your browser requests a page, such as your IP address, browser type, and the page requested, so they can deliver it and protect their services. This information is handled under their own privacy policies:
NoteCurrent doesn't use this information to identify or track you.
If you contact us
If you email us for support, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply to you, and we don't add you to any mailing list.
Children
NoteCurrent doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If NoteCurrent changes in a way that affects your privacy, we'll update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
